Bob DeMonbrun started Vacations for Warriors in February, 2014.  Bob has been interested in US Military Veteran’s issues for many years.  A Vietnam-Era Army Veteran, he began helping members of the US Military by organizing Christmas care package drives through Greenwood Community Church's Military Ministry.  He was requested by the Commanding General at Colorado's Fort Carson to ship school supplies and children’s clothing for the US troops to distribute to the children of Afghanistan; which he did successfully.

Bob wanted to take this mission further, and in 2014, he founded Vacations for Warriors to provide memorable vacations to wounded Veterans and their families. Many wounded Veterans have spent months, even years, in hospitals undergoing countless surgeries, treatments, and rehabilitation. Bob feels that these quality vacation experiences provide an opportunity for those Veterans and their families to reconnect and decompress while enjoying a fun filled and relaxing vacation.

Bob and his wife, Sharon, live in Highlands Ranch, Colorado and are the parents of three adult, married children with six grandchildren.  His son Michael is currently serving in the Colorado Air National Guard.  Bob’s career has been spent in the investment banking industry financing manufacturing plants, and providing financing to non-profit organizations throughout the United States. He currently is a Managing Director at Stern Brothers which is based in St. Louis, MO.  He is originally from Riverside, California.
